Cleethorpes Tournament

HGFC took two teams to Keelby to take part in Cleethorpes
annual 5-a-side tournament. The torrential rain cleared just in time for the kick off to allow the teams to produced some fantastic football. Matthew Culshaw returned after missing much of the season to help the league 3 team finish second. The League One team continued their fantastic from by winning their section.

West Riding Ability Counts Awards Night

HGFC's League Three championship winning team attended the Ability Counts League end of deason awards night where they were presented with the championship trophy. Great food and a great night.

Special Olympic World Games

Harrogate's Matt Hunt has been selected to be one of the GB football coaches for the Special Olympics World Games. He will join James Parker as part of the GB delegation that will fly out to Los Angeles next year for the games. Matt has two Special Olympics National Competitions under his belt with Yorkshire & Humberside squads and his inclision into the GB team is well deserved.

Special Olympic World Games
HGFC's James Parker has been selected to represent Special Olympics GB in the World Games which will take part in Los Angeles next year. James was selected after impressing in the national trials which were held in Bolton earlier this year. Congratulations and well done



March 2014

League Champions
HGFC were crowned League Three champions after completing their West Riding Ability Counts Football League programme in Halifax earlier this month. The team were unbeaten in 15 league games until they lost their final game against Pontefract Pirates .
